Hey there,

This year I’m challenging myself to build 52 iOS apps in 52 weeks using AI. As an iOS developer with around a decade of experience and about 50 published apps in the App Store, I’ve seen how long it can take to bring an app to life. Now, I want to see if AI can speed things up. Can I pack a decade of work into a single year?

I’m aiming to create simple but valuable apps, kind of like the spelling bee app that was my biggest hit to date. Each week, I’ll share my progress, the hurdles, and what I’m learning.

The biggest challenge? Time. With a full-time job and family, finding 5-10 hours a week will be tough. But I’m hopeful AI can turn those long projects into quick wins. Also the App Store review is a mystifying experience. You never know when you will get the rejection notice.

Professionally, I want to stay on top of AI advancements and keep learning. Personally, I hope to generate enough revenue to cover the AI subscription cost and maybe even add to my family’s savings.
